The Main Story of the Movie “Bad News” :
The film Bad News is an Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 movie Good News. The story addresses a relatively unusual kind of medical condition, called “heteropaternal superfecundation,” where twins are born from the same mother but have two different fathers due to separate fertilization events.
The main plot portrays Saloni Sharma’s night with two men: Akhil Chaddha and Gurbir Singh. The result of that one night? She is pregnant. When Saloni calls the doctor’s surgery, she finds that she is expecting twins. However, her case becomes complicated given the fact that each twin has a different biological father—one from Akhil and one from Gurbir—because of the rare phenomenon of heteropaternal superfecundation.
Its humor came from a contrast of the men vying for Saloni’s attention and affection while tending to this extraordinary role of fathering her twins.
The film makes a cocktail of humor, medical science, and people’s relationships. It uses light and easy points to develop the story line, exploring interpersonal interactions among character types as well as their developing emotional states.Akhil and poverty are a central image of inner strife, with a tear-shedding commentary from their present colleagues.
Review Summary:
- Performances: According to The Hollywood Reporter’s review, Vicky Kaushal carries this picture. Most of the actors do well by playing off Vicky, but beyond that, there’s a whole quiet humming noise.
- Story: The plot has its occasional lapses of logic, with some parts developed at the expense of consistency, but even so it is very civilized. People over 21 surely cannot fail to laugh at Tom Thumb’s feeling a Primary Care Clinic on television; although others feel that its integrating of feminist views along those whims hopes to become an insiders’ joke
- Direction and Cinematography: Anand Tiwar does well enough in the director’s section with no particular strengths of his own; cinematography by Devjit Ray, editing by Shan Mohammed.
- Music: The movie soundtrack features eight songs that have all been praised to the skies.
- Final Verdict: Overall, the film is referred to as a “below average” comedy-drama. It’s a good watch for those who appreciate Vicky Kaushal’s work. But it’s not a profound or lasting influence, and he must raise himself on his own feet and become his hero as well.
